This section of the Civics Webpage will be dedicated to general information that students and parents should know about my Civics class. It will be updated every Sunday evening by 10:00 p.m.
There is a standing assignment in my Civics class - Current Events Reports - that are due every last day of class for the week. These reports are worth 15 points per week. Students can always turn these in early - in fact they can do the entire quarter's worth of Current Events or do them 1 per week or any combination of these. There are 8 weeks in Quarter 1 in which students will be expected to complete these reports.
JMC is our grading program and parents can sign up for on-line access so that you can see you child's progress. I will be updating my grades at least once a week (usually on Wednesdays).
